first complete ring of bells fitted with a set of modern ball
bearings was at Hensingham.

The bells of St John's were presented
by The Musgrave
Family in 1914.

are part of the fellowship of the church and we ring regularly for
Sunday worship and weddings, with additional ringing for Christmas,
Easter and special services.
